Kristapher Walker, 27, was arrested in what was part of an undercover online investigation, which began when the Enid Police Department received a cyber-tip from the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children. Oklahoma Man Charged With Child Sex Offenses
According to the cyber-tip, an Enid, Oklahoma man was “sexting” back and forth with a young girl in Ohio. Enid Police Sgt. Dustin Albright launched an investigation into the matter and spoke with the mother of the minor in Ohio. The mother reported that her daughter admitted having “phone sex” with a man who went by the name “Tim Smith,” and told police that she had located the man’s phone number on a sexually explicit website. Albright then contacted “Tim Smith” pretending to be a 13-year-old girl, at which point Enid Police were able to identify the man as Kristapher Walker.
Walker was arrested by police on February 21, and during an interview, admitted to communicating with the young girl in Ohio, as well as other underage girls across the country. Walker also admitted to police that he had sent and received sexually explicit photographs from one of the girls with whom he had been communicating. “I believe that there are numerous other victims of this crime out there and I intend to investigate this matter as far as possible,” stated Albright. In the meantime, Walker is being held at the Garfield County Detention Center.
